My "O" is just to have, the 71/121 is just a play toy. The 2182 and 2284 are for work and killing grass fast. The 1572, jury is out on that one.

OK that I get! I have the same problem. I'm guessing that is part of a hitch for a Cat D11 adapted to a Cub, LMAO. ![]()

What I enjoy the most is blowing snow with the old.
![]() And the new. ![]() Yeah I may live in the rust belt but I have always enjoyed doing the winter thing the most.

Mine used to be mowing with the sickle bar but I've since sold the sickle so the 122 cub has sat since September 2012.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
