Is that a recent picture of the 54" plow? It's the middle of April and you still have that much white stuff I'm sure you will find some kind of use for it. I had a 169 sitting ready with a blower and a 149 with a plow and not enough snow to use either one this winter. Maybe you can send some white stuff our way next winter.

Todd,
That is a nice power blade. I assume that you have it in clean up mode?
Hope that snow in the pictures has melted and your busy mowing grass. Regards,
Chris

Mounted up the push blade to test fit everything before getting it sand blasted. Thought about just taking it in after getting the sub frame figured out, but I thought I had better see if everything works together. Well........
It worked fine until the coil pin on the inside right hand arm assembly on the rockshaft broke
Anyone have an idea how to get at it to get it out? There's no room from the top, and the frame is on the bottom in the way.
I haven't tried the hydraulic cylinder swivel yet, one thing at a time

I just replaced that exact same roll pin on my 1650 last weekend. I was able to remove a small piece from the top side and a small piece from the bottom, but then there was still a big piece stuck in the middle. So I ended up removing the right side foot rest and the outer rockshaft lift cam thingy which also had a broken roll pin. Then I sprayed a lot of PB Blaster on the rock shaft arm and was able to slide the big dowel out threw the right side of the frame just enough so I could swing a hammer and remove the rest of the roll pins that were stuck in the dowel. Hope this makes sense and helps you out... Oh and I also cursed a lot of swear/cuse words too, it didn't help much LOL

Forgot to mention I also removed the pin from the hydro cylinder and flipped that bracket up out of the way.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
