Hope this works? Short clip of my problem steering wheel .

Any idea from viewing itwhat the problem is? Or where to start?

I need all the help I can get. Im sure there are people that can look at this clip & tell exactly what is wrong.

The side to side slop it your upper bushing, just under the steering wheel. Pop the IH cap off, remove the nut, soak the shaft with some PB blaster and tap the shaft ( with the nut on flush with the top of the shaft) with a brass hammer while pulling on the wheel and most of the time it wil pop off, just be careful of the plastic on your wheel. It's easier with two people. Once off you'll see the culprit, the plastic bushing. It's easily replaced, but you might want to pull the box and everything at this point and clean/ check things out.

Mine did the same thing. I bought this and I will be putting it in soon (when i get to that part of the tractor anyway its in pieces)



Should solve the issue and is cheaper than the plastic replacement

I bought the upgrade for the steering, and the bearing came with a new column seal too. It was like $35 shipped. for those parts.

I would check the bolts holding the steering box to the frame.Then check the side to side movement.

that bearing can be had at any hardware store.I got mine from Ace hardware.

Yes as long as you don't mind getting dirty. You just take it apart clean it. And put it back together. A little adjustment and tada New steering.
