Great pictures.....nice barn behind them too. An old drive shed at the one end? You have more pictures of your "family" to share?

The 1450 belonged to a member of another forum and was restored by him. Very, very nice job. I tilled about 20 feet last night to try it out, as I couldn't help it, but didn't want to dirty it up too bad before winter. Wow, what fun. It realy leveled part of the ground where my septic lines are nicely.

I moved on the acreage 2 weeks ago. Then a mainline blew in the basement, so we haven't had much fun yet. Can't wait for the big garden though. We are the first family to own this property that wasn't part of the orignial family since 1921. Very special to have done that.

Looking forward to becoming part of your group!
I'm thinking you must be the first farmer in the field this year!!
Just don't go too deep or that cloddy soil will become real soupy right quick,
-----and the tiller will never small the same. ha,LOL!

Thanks guys!

The barn has two overhangs built on each side. The east is falling apart, so nothing is stored there. The South is in great shape, but birds like it in there, so I keep my trailer there, or park the 1450 between tilling runs.

Hope to restore the barn in the future, but with 4 kids, braces, cars, 86 Dodge truck restoration, Cub Restorations, gardening.......you know how it goes.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
