The wide stance of the duals will cause a problem when the blade is angled, also they will be riding on unplowed snow when the blade is set straight.

Less pounds per square inch of traction with duals also.

Duals are good for when you need traction on soft ground, not the greatest on hard frozen ground.

Did you notice my comment when I first posted? I'm looking for a 54" blade.

If I get into that much snow, your right. Here in Iowa we get a lot of slush that my snow blower can't spit out as well. With the added wheel weights and the chains that I'm putting on, I'll have more traction than I need. I've got 78 lbs hanging on each side, 26lbs on the inside dual and 52 on the outside.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
