For 100 that's pretty good, the plow can easily go for over that. Mule drives can be bent back or replaced easier than some other parts of the cub. Sounds like a great deal!

Default Finally stopped raining

It stopped raining so I got some pics of the 1450 tractor and the plow. It was dark when we got home with it and raining when I picked it up so I didn't get a good look at yesterday. There are some fairly major parts missing so it might just be a donor. But other than that it is very solid and just dirty as all get out. If I can get it running I won't feel bad about it at all. I'll be interested to hear other opinions.

Sweet!
You did great on that deal. Basically, you bought the plow and got the tractor for free!
She doesn't look too bad either. Other than no side panels, what other big parts are missing? Did it come with the deck in the background as well? The funniest looking part is the front IH emblem. Either an optical illusion or she's alittle warped.

Default LOL

You're right the emblem is a lot warped and I think it's because the muffler was replaced with a piece of iron pipe and is very close to the emblem. I have the side panels, just didn't put them on. The rear lift link is missing which kinda bums me out, but mainly this tractor was meant to provide parts for my 1650 that I could work on over the winter. This will give me something to grind and beat on when the snow gets here.

Just my 2 cents but you will make a whole bunch more than what you paid for it if you part it or use what you need for your other tractor and sell the remains.

No, that deck came with my 1650. It's a 50" that I would love to trade someone for a 44". I was going through a bunch of stuff and came across a brand new set of blades for a 44" deck. Never been out of the box. Also my shed door is only 48" lol.
Yes, I got the plow over in the Allegan area.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
