Find someone with a junk S/G and see if you can just purchase that part off of them......there's got to be one out there somewhere.

I have one that smokes like no tomorrow when it is used and is for parts... What part do you need off of it? What's the shaft nut?

http://www.cubcadet.com/webapp/wcs/s...A/040011200004

What parts do you need, Parts 44,25 and 26?

As promised:
The shaft is about .660 Dia. and 20 threads per inch.
Nuts from any Delco Generator (GM) and later Alternators fit.
Yea the pulleys swap too, for some special modification a fellow might want to do
(Like 2 or 3 grooves)
Did I mention,
Ford Alternators use same nut also?
I don't think it would be hard to find one anywhere,
just use your imagination.

How about a 22,44,25,26? (22 is the small spacer behind the pulley).
PM me with cost, etc.

Thanks!

With this many nuts, you'd think it easy to find one! I'll see if I can find an old alternator around here!

Thanks for the info!!!

Found a nut on an old alternator I had rat-holed 40 years ago. Fits perfectly. Thanks for the info!!!

The 100 now has a new S/G and a new regulator. Charges on startup at about 13 volts. I am happy!

First time this tractor has charged correctly in years! Seems to run better and have more power, too!

Thanks to all!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
