My 782 does the same thing with your stock mowing tire. If the blade is angled, it pushes to the side when going into a pile. NOt when pushing, but when pushing into a pile.

I switched to a snow blower and don't plan on looking back, though I had to last year when the snow blower broke.

Done that....it helps. Only time I have any problems is when the town snow plow plows in my drive every morning. My neighbors don't like to hear the 149 barking 4:30 in the morning.

My problem is that I dont have a flat or blacktop driveway. And I only have a couple spots that I want to stack the snow. So I need to push the snow around to get it were I want it. So once there is a layer of snow packed down on the driveway I have a hard time steering the snow where I want it. When the blade is up it will steer ok , but not sharp, as the turf tires just slide instead of digging in.

My 100 has the tri ribs. Being as how these tractors are two wheel drive (as far as I know, anyway), does it help anything to have the ag tires on the front?

All I can say is they dig in. But mine are also weighted.

They are just wishing they had one that could be barking, instead it is their wife barking that they are still shoveling the snow bank when she wants to leave! Guess they don't make his & her's snow shovels!!

Cool

Sounds like I am fortunate to have a 4x4 atv with a 50" plow on it, shove the snow out the drive way and about 50 feet down the road...snow plow comes by and throws it out onto my front lawn and ditch. If it gets deep in the driveway, I break out the new Cub Cadet 33" walk behind I was fortunate to find last year....now that is a sweet blower! It will tear into a drift taller than the mouth of the blower and keep on digging, have yet to bog it down or have to surrender to a drift or pile of snow.:biggrin2.gif:

I plow 6-7 of my neighbers driveways. It gets me out of the house and I like to play anyways. I am hoping to good enough this year to put a plow on my ranger xp. Was looking at the glacier plows ,but they use the winch for the lift, and I would realy like to have down pressure. There are a few companys offering that but there pricey. Hoping they are alittle less next year.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
