Duke, I'd really like to see what that's going to look like after some rubbing compound and wax!

Wow! Great score buddy!! Wish that I had that luck. You not only have a great cub, but also a super peco vac system and a very sharp looking cub hauler, too! I'm glad that the lil' red beast found you. Thanks for the pictures and the good news story.

Well judging by all the leaves in your yard looks like the power vac will come in handy.

Nice score on the mower.

Also does the power vac draw the debris from a bottom chute or is there hoses and all that kind of stuff that goes along with it?

Hey Lew

Got a nice Deere here for you to skin. Take a ride to VA and pick it up. Oh and it's going to be in the 70's here the next few days and we have power.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
