Default 2013 Red Power Round Up - Lima OH

Its still 8 months away but next year's Red Power Round Up will be in Lima OH, June 19-22 hosted by Ohio Chapter 6. The feature for the show is Hydro tractors (including Cub Cadets) and Travelalls. One cool thing they are doing for this Roundup is a Youth tractor restoration contest. There are two categories tractors and cub cadets. First place in the Cub Cadet category is $750 dollars. More details on the website. I am going to restore my 107 for the contest. I'm ready! http://ihc-oh6.com/Red_Power_Round_Up_2013.php

I wouldn't mind taking my 147, however, I'd have to figure out a way to get it there.

There will be road construction in the Red Power Round Up 2013 area ( Lima, Ohio).
Go to this area to find an alternative route to get to the Round Up:

Hope to see you there.

Wonder if they would let a red 147 hydro with a bunch of old attachments on the grounds??
Not sure how far Lima is from us? Have to go look. Well that was easy: 4 hours and 5 minutes. For some reason I was thinking it was closer Will keep it in mind. Have friends in the area I haven't seen in 15 years.
Regards,
Chris

Red 147s are allowed.

You will see several modified Cub Cadets at the show.

Go to this site www.rpru2013.com to find information about camping and hotels. I know of 2 hotels book full during the round up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
