Ryan,
Another nice find. I never have guys looking me up either to buy their cubs. My wife probably has something to do with that.
My 800 is missing the same handle. The PO took a nut and welded a bolt to it for the handle. Works for now..............
So how many rear pto's do ya have now, 4?
Congrats.

Thanks Josh. This is the second tractor that I don't have a handle for the pto...the one on the 126 has been welded too. I think they must have had a weak spot, or a lot of people may have bumped it while climbing on/off the tractor. At least thats what i've come up with.

This does make tractor #4 with rear pto. My friend Marlin from Colo told me that this guy was looking to talk to me about selling me his Cub. That's the second guy I've had ask me. The other was last fall in Des Moines...a really nice guy saw my name in the Des Moines Register from an article about my Cubs. Tracked my number down and called me he said.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
