I do pretty good...My Cub Cadet dealer is also a Grasshopper and Kubota engine dealer. So, they can get parts from Cub Cadet, Grasshopper, or Kubota.

I decided to drag the sand blaster out today and try and clean up the exhaust a bit on this 2182.
Does anyone have a pic of the air cleaner mount that this tractor is supposed to have? |

If you soak the bolts on the mufler guard they will probaly come out and you can paint the muller with some header paint. Let me know if these pics work for you. Good to see you fixing the Big Girl up! No way your gonna sell it now, you two have bonded.

What models have a fender pan and foot rests that will fit the 2182. I'm gonna fix her up a bit.
I put a couple boat motors up for sale. If one of them sells My wife says I can keep the 2182.

As far as I know all the Cyclops tractor fender and foot rests should fit but I'll check for you. If you can find a later model with the big fuel filler I have a gas tank for it.

It looks like the fender pan is Super specific. Looking at your pics on C-list I suggest you take some time and do a little sanding and painting on the fender pan, it doesn't look all that bad. The foot pads could probably even be fixed. These are the Cyclops Supers that have pretty much the same sheet metal but you need to look for an earlier Super because they changed the rock shaft design on the later tractors and the foot pads are a bit different. Not a big deal and you can trim it to fit if need be. The sheet metal on your tractor is the same as my 1882. 1782 Kubota diesel 1882 Kohler Mag18 2086 Kawi 2082 Kohler Mag20 2182 Kubota gas 2084 Kohler CH20 2284 Kohler CH22

I'll pull the foot rests off tomorrow and see If I can straighten them out. If not I'll bring them down to Norfolk next weekend and see what my Dad can do with them. The fender pan is going to be pitted up pretty bad. I'll see if I can make it look decent before I buy a different one.

If it's not rotted through some bondo and new paint should make it look like new. I've seen worse than what you have. Sent you an e, check it out. Gotta go, I'm old and it's past my bed time

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
