That's great, Diz! Does the 169 vibrate less, after installing the new driveshaft?

ACecil,
It seems really nice now. It wasnt really vibrating to much before but it looked bad when it was spining. Mowed with it tonite. Doing the work to the trunion and new fluid and filter really made a big difference. Really smooth now. :biggrin2.gif: |

Twisting isn't the problems I see on the sleeve hitch adapter. The lack of support on the outside can and will cause the holes to elongate some. The only way I found to cure the problem is to go to support on both sides of your sleeve hitch adapter.
![]() International Harvester design and build a tiller, box blade and a rear blade/rake. All 3 attachments have support on both sides. Some use a rod that goes between both arms of their sleeve hitch adapter. That helps....rod could bend. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
