I am guessing, this is just a minor issue. Something vibrated loose on the way to it's new home.

I just think that whole day was bad, with all the problems I was having. I should have stayed in bed.
I pulled the battery out, took off the ground wire, going to relocat that to back on the frame. I checked the connections they all seem to be good, but I'm going to check each connection as I clean it. That way I'll know it is good. I'll see if I can find the safety switch and check it. This may take me a while,I post the results. It has me befuddled, because it ran great when we loaded it on the trailer. I think it was just a bad day, everything was going wrong. That is except for getting a new cub. ole 147 Quote:

Well I checked every wire, cleaned terminals, changed the battery, found the safety switch, witch I wonder if it could have been placed in a more hard to get at location maybe but I doubt it.
Couldn't get the plug off to it. So I wonder what's the secret to get that booger off? Other than 4 oz. of C4. I tugged pulled wiggled for a good while but it ain't moving. |

Sounds like it may be a bit corroded up in there. Just keep tugging. If by chance you break the plug, you can use female spade connectors to replace it.

If I were to give up everytime something goes south, I'd have no tractors. Suck it up, and find the trouble.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
