Good project just assemble and go.You did get the nuts and bolts to it?
If you are using the motor out of the 100 you will have to use the correct blower housing for wide frame as the coil mounts higher up on the housing to clear the frame.

All of the nuts and bolts are in the tubs. He wanted to keep them but got to have all the IH bolts I can get my hands on. I may go with zinc plated so I can use grade 5 bolts. Not sure of the condition on the bolts so keeping my options open.

Good thing you told me about the blower housing or I would have found out the hard way again. I'll swap them once I get the motor from the 108. He forgot it but he's bringing it with him on the next trip.

Well, I was wrong no bolts in the tubs. I took the time last night to go to parts lookup and made a list of what I need to buy so I can start going on this project.

I've got to go digging thru my tires and find some good rears for it. I think I've got a good pair of turfs for it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
