Looks like you either have a 104 or 124..... with a pto, and a rare reverser!

Here's a picture from another site of the reverser alone....

The narrow frames didn't have the serial number on the frame. The tag you found on the rearend is the serial number.

Hopefully DWayne will see this soon, and tell us if you have a 104...or 124.

I think that is the same tractor that I saw sitting on a trailer for sale last year in Dyersville, IA. It was the weekend that the Little G Expo was going on. I stopped and asked about it and the owner said it was just sold.

I got it from a guy North of Sioux Falls SD just happened to ask him if he had any cubs when we were picking up the two diesel deeres, my dad used to use and pull cubs now has an obsession with diesel jd garden tractors, but can't fault him for that ha ha. they do run pretty well

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
