Just shooting in the dark here, but... Are you certain that the left blade is turning properly? It's possible it's sticking without any belt squeal. Another option would be to rotate the left blade just a bit further around than it is now, it might be that the grass is being blown underneath the left blade by the center blade and it's not standing up when the cutting edge comes by. Like I said, just a couple of shots in the dark... hopefully, they're not blanks.

My 50 was doing just as you say. Blade was loose. Didn't feel loose, but when I put a 1/2" breaker bar on the nut, it was loose. Had to use my foot to hold the blade to get it tight.
