The problem I see with that recoil, is there is no way to connect the drive belt to the engine.

Hi Guys,

the Restoration of my Cub is going on, the last 2 Weeks, i got some Parts. Ignition Coil from Great Britain, Wheel Weights from France, and the other Parts from the States, (Steering Wheel, Engine Kit, Seat Cover, Tie Rod Endes, and so on.

Got the Transmission Housing and the Engine Block back from the Sandblaster, the Block is at the Machine Shop for bore the Cylinder, and turn over the Crank. Carb is new rebuildt.

The Rims are white Powder Coated, and the Tires are on it.
Today, i want to reassembly the Gear Parts into the Transmission.

I'm waiting for a Steering Column, new Hood Ornament, and a Brochure of the "Original" Cub Cadet, there i purchased few Days ago.

Also, i'm looking for a Set of Reflectors with Brackets for the Fenders.

I hope, the Progress will going on,

mfg Georg

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
