Venango County, Franklin here!
Cub Crazy, I think I used to drive past your house every day. I never had the guts to pull in and say hi. But I think I know where you live

I used to live back in Lake Latonka and I would drive to Franklin to work. I have since moved to Franklin. I used to drink a lot at the Yellow Creek if you were ever hanging out there. I would see your tractors out but I didn't see any cyclops stuff sitting around so I figured that I wouldnt have anything intelligent to say. You have a nice looking place there though. I would love to have a barn that big for the toys!

I have met Cubcrazy and he does not bite. Unless he is at the restaurant that is, he then can become a real buffet bully. He most always has his eggs sunny side up so he can see the yellow and white.

Man oh man you're breaking my heart CubCrazy. The cyclops is not your favorite!!! I am probably a little bit of a different generation than some of you guys because the cyclops are the classics to me.
Growing up I used to cut my parents grass with a 1450 that would never start. I hated that tractor!!! One day my dad took me down to Slippery Rock Lawn and Garden to look at all the brand-new cyclops tractors that just came out. I remember seeing those Supers sitting there with the exhaust sticking out the side of it and thinking how bad@$& is that that the engine is so big they have to put the exhaust on the outside of the tractor!!!! We didn't get anything that day but I went home with a whole bunch of sales brochures. I spent many an evening thumbing through those brochures and dreaming of those supers and wishin that someday that I could have one. Not too long after that my dad ended up buying a brand-new 1641 which I have to this very day. It sits in the tractor barn with a bedsheet over it and a 451 snowblower on the front of it. I have the 48 inch GT deck mounted to the wall where it will probably never get used. This is where my love of the Super Garden Tractors came from anyways whether not they look like cyclops or not. And the fact that I have a couple makes me very happy!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
