And I tried real hard to NOT SCRATCH THE PAINT! With lots of soapy water, and then I tried some of this stuff that I've been using for rubber and vinyl conditioning, and they slipped right on.

twoton....
I just read this entire thread. The "What a rag" caught my eye.

What fun it was reading your commentary, enjoying your obvious carefree and good sense of humor. That picture with your legs up declaring another nap under the Cub made me laugh out loud and the picture indicating that the horn worked... All too good!
Thanks for sharing some great ideas, super pictures and examples.
You sound like a fella that would be fun to hang out with while getting a good deal accomplished while having fun doing it. Thanks again!

Whoa there guy! That’s the last thing I need, a little bit of self confidence! Ask my wife. I start getting’ a big head and there could be three more cubs in the yard in the blink of an eye!

No, but seriously, ya gotta have a little bit of fun every day. Like zippy1 says, make the best of each day. And, if you can give someone a chuckle, that’s the best. Randy, thanks for your kind words.

David

Bud you are doing an outstanding job on this one. Gotta remember the tip for mounting tires.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
