Beautiful tractor...what size are those rear tires? I have a 149 bought, got to pickup this week or first of next, and I know it has pretty worn out weeny skin tires on it. I like the looks of those. Did you have to buy a different wheel to accomodate them?
Thanks

Thanks, the tires are an off brand,23X8.50-12 Deestone 4P Super Lug Tires, but they seem to be very good tires so far.I did not need different rims, however the 149 may have a wider rim on it.If you have the right size rim, they are only $93(a set)on ebay, minus shipping,i hope this will help you out.

to both Cub123 and Dave R!!!!

Great working 123 there cub123!!! You'll really appreciate that hydraulic lift when you get it on your 123.......I've had mine on for about 1 year and can honestly say that it makes lifting a 185 lbs. snow blower a cinch. The directions for modifying the clutch sheild call for splitting it down the middle, but I wouldn't advise it. Someone showed me their mod on their 100 where they had notched out theirs to accommodate their belt, so I gave it a try with a pair of tin snips and am really glad that I didn't cut it in half.....just a quick tip for what it's worth. Can't wait to see your pictures once you get it mounted.

---->Does the lift rod for your blade go under your original or on the side, I can't tell by the picture?

As for the negative temps, Young Enthusiast........I can do without them, I don't mind the 20's, but several times last year my region got colder than Alaska was, isn't that strange? Never thought about going to a warmer climate, like Alaska for the winter!! Can't wait to see your pictures...

It has the rod on the outside w/brkt on the lift handle. All fabricated hanger, narrow frame A frame and blade. Wish I had a OEM on it. The original rod is still hooked to the rock shaft under the frame but I plan to remove.

Here's my 125 ready to go with the front blade, chains and weights.

Doing a little last minute fall cleanup.

In the barn, waiting...

i dont have any pictures yet, but i got the plow on the 1450 and it was doing really good pushin these indiana snows around till my throttle cable broke, that being on order i have a little time and was wondering if anyone has any good ideas as to how to get the height of the blade any higher off the ground while i am not pushin, with my gravel drive it seems to still push and catch even while it is all the way up

Flatbedford,

I'll bet you're not waiting anymore!!! Wow...New York has been buried in snow and no doubt you're having fun in it. Great looking 125. I almost bought one this fall, but hesitated. Another hydro would have been great to have around.

motochris35---How high is your gravel? My blade comes up off of the ground about 4" above the ground when the handle is all the way back. Your tires would have to be buried in gravel for it to scrape.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
