not the best photos I guess. born Nov 1969. I just put the steering back together, will get the 605 bearing on tomorrow. Put some 26" ags on her. Lots of work to do but gotta get er ready for work. Hope to tear it down after fall and do a total rebuild/paint job.

It must be photgenic ! Its not in too bad condition. The original owner was "restoring" it. To me it was just a not bad paint brush job ! The steering is really the only major issue other than 40 years of wear and tear. The snow blower which came with was in very good condition, the deck was rough but my kid cut out all the rot and welded in nice new stell, cant even tell; the blades and spindles are excellent. Its nice to have a welder fabber in the family. He has build door skins for a '32 Packard show car as well as a bunch of other cool stuff, now I'm corraling him for some Cub duty. I havent got the 122 home yet but its pretty nice also with a snow blade that doesnt look 10 years old. Just lucky so far.

Clint I sure can! I was without a mower for two weeks before the 1650 made it to me so the grass is a little high but the 1650 went thru it with no probelms with the 38: deck. On the right side it's mislabeled 1450 but it's a 1650 with front outputs. I posted one of Evan plowing. I'll even post of video's I made last year of me and my friend plowing his garden with the 1650.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
