I will when I take it off to paint it. It's no big deal 2 pieces of 2" X 2" 3/8" bar stock with a 1/2" hole in it so that the pin that would normaly hold the rear lift will fit through. One welded on each side of the plate. The plate is 3/8" and it's 6" X 6 1/2" +- I like to keep things simple.

Any chance you coulda gotten by with 1/4". I can't pull off 3/8 with my welder but I've done 1/4 before without any major failures just a lot of beveling I'd appreciate the pics when you do take it apart.

Probably, I tend to over build stuff. My motto is "If it breaks something more important is coming with it". I'll see if I can pop some pics for you soon so you don't have to wait. It's not a big deal to pull it off, 2 wires and 1 pin.

Thanks Sam.

I would never make or sell anything I would be hesitant to sign my name to. I make every part as it's for my own use.

Vartz
Took the winch mount off and got some pics for you. As I said the base is 6.5” wide and 6” high. It’s 3/8” plate drilled and tapped for 3/8” bolts to attach the winch. It just pins on at the same place that the factory lift would.
I also flipped the winch around for a better angle on the cable while I was at it.

It's been a while since I did anything on this project. Got it torn apart yesterday for paint and a few little details. Rebuilt the steering box. Fixed a couple pin holes in the shifter cover with some JB weld. Need to do a little Bondo work on the tower, sand blast the hood and then get some red paint on the old girl. I will probably replace a couple gaskets on the Mag 12 where it is dribbling while it's out because this one is a PITA to pull because of the deep sump the engine has to come out vertically.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
