I picked up a CW-36 snowblower for $125 last January, and I cleaned out the gearbox, install a new gasket, new lube, tightened the chain, greased the u-joints, and then sat and waited for the snow to fall. I finally took the thing off the 107 on July 4th after no use. I don't get to my parents' much.

So I'm ready for winter, but knowing my luck it'll fall when I'm not there. Dad will have to tell me how well it runs.

Tyler, that's the best laugh I've had all day! I had to show the wife that one. I showed her all of the cubs getting ready for snow to set her up and then showed her your tractors and she busted out laughing.
We where admiring the blue sky in the last picture with the 982 beside the 5088, that would make a great POTW.

Got one ready before December! A new personal record! One down, 4 to go... maybe. This is the 1450 that I picked up in the spring with the Windbreaker Cab that I got over the summer. The cab cleaned up well and just needed some common hardware to re-assemble it and a pair or threaded rods to hold the doors up. Real test will occur if it actually snows - we'll see if everything stays together. Wish I could get me doors to seal like fleetlines' QL, but I'm off to a good start. This will be the first run with a cab, so we probably won't get snow here in central MD till March

Next up is the blade for the 782, QA42 on the 125 once I get the hydro lift installed, possible blade on the 105, and figuring out a pulley setup for the boys' 80 Cadet with C36 snowthrower. I have one other set of weights, 3 sets of chains, and a rear weight tray, so I'll have to decide where to spread the traction assistance to...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
