Default Ford Power steering pump??
Is that a FOrd power steering pump I see?? Must be a pretty easy way to get some hydraulics!

Looks like my warm painting days may be over until spring.

I brushed the paint stripper on with some cheap throw away chip brushes.

Ford!! Now, there's no need to swear at me. Haha It's a Saginaw power steering pump from an early '70s GM car. Dug it out of my FILs scrap barrel.

I was going to say: No, that's a Saginaw unit, used on Chrysler's and GM's.

Ford used some saginaw gears, as did a lot of manufacturers, just like those old
cast iron hydromatics from the 50's

This tractor has more sentimental value to me now. My father bought this tractor when I was very young and he recently passed away after losing his fight with cancer. I wish I had been able to finish the tractor for him to see it.

I'm going to put 4-lug trailer hubs on the front. I mounted my 16/6.5/8 tires on 8x3.75 wheels to see how they fit and I like the look. The tires measure 5.75" wide on these wheels.
