Dumb question. How big is your resevoire for the oil? I am just trying to picture how much fluid you have/need to lift this. Correct me if I am wrong - you need the amount of what is in the filter, lines, pump, as well as enough to fully extend ALL the cylinders as well as have some left over in the resevoir? Rough figuring, what you said about 6 quarts - do you have enough it it? Is it possible the system is starved for oil still? I am grasping at straws here to be honest Matt, because from what you have explained so far - you did it all correct! Only other thing to try is to get rid of the restrictors within the lines to see if they are slowing it down too much? Is it possible it has some chunk of crap within the system that possibly got into it during reassembly after painting? Something as simple as a large flake of paint would screw the whole system up for flow of fluid wouldn't it? You have MUCH MORE patience with this than I would have Matt - I too would have been looking for the closest dynamite dealer!!
Ya got me!??

Nice Work Matt!!!!
Could it be the filter itself or the Vent in the tank? |

Fixed it! It turned out to be the relief valve on the control valve. It was set to basically zero. I set it to 800 psi, added some wheel weights, and now it's all set to go. Here's a couple of pictures.
100_4824 (Custom).jpg 100_4822 (Custom).jpg I had to get the other two red ones out too...Left to right, 782, 682, 782D. 100_4828 (Custom).jpg Time to find a place in the barn for it and store it until the snow flies... |

Are planning to (PLOW) snow with it, or just move and pile it ? If you are planing to use it as a plow, you will be disappointed. Plowing with a loader sucks Unless it has float position, or you have an extremely flat driveway.
Looks good though. I will have to one sometime.

I'll just move piles with it. I'll do the plowing with the 782.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
