I'm putting 26X12X12 Tru-Powers on it with 10-1/2" wide rims same as on my 2182. They will come mounted and painted.

sam mac, you do really good work!! i made these brackets awhile ago, thought maybe i was stupid, didnt know there were problems like that, just didnt like the fact that 2 3/8" bolts on each side held rear to frame...mine only caught one more hole but then again its a smaller tractor too..was hoping to do a stainless driveshaft and two piece carrier also...just in case i do some thing stupid again later!! (motor wise) that super really is sweet!!

Your brace looks a lot like the Xtreme "Race Brace". Nice job. I'd like to see how you attached it to the frame. Just a FYI the GT brace will fit on the older GT's like your tractor. Not sure you need it on the gear drives because of how the front of the tranny case bolts straight to the frame.

Finished the 1782 today just waiting for the new boots. I'll try to get pics tomorrow. Snowing in Galax now so I put the plow back on the BX. That way we won't get enough to make it worth plowing. LOL.

the "profile" piece is 3/16" stovk and on the top is a "return flange" that is 1/4" stock, welded together, kinda like a piece of angle i guess..then theres two verticle bolts holding it to the bottom rail of the frame...hindsight probably wouldve been easier to buy a set. lots of rasp action to clean up the plasma cutter mess...didnt know they even made em though...thanks for the info though..be cool to see that super in some snow action!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
