You have done a great job with that tractor. I sometimes think about doing mine that way, base coat clear coat, but it takes a lot of abuse, I don't know, maybe some day.

As of right now, I'd be happy just to have it running again.

today I got the clutch/drive shaft in. the wire harness and the engine put in place.

got all the body work done and the parts in a reduced coat of epoxy to fill the 220 sand marks. I'll 600 wet sand them next then seal and paint tomorrow sometime.

the bottom side of the fenders got a coat of bedliner. there was so much surface rust here I wanted to protect better then the paint/clear will. it'll still get painted.

Great idea on the bed liner coating on the insides of the fender. I assume you sprayed that on too! Man you are talented when it comes to prep and paint work! This 582 is one "spoiled tractor"!

no, I didnt put it on. I know a guy that knows a guy thats knows a guy kinda deal. the stuff you buy in the rattle cans is not as good as this stuff. you can scrap a puddy knife across this stuff and it'll spark.

the guy did the inside of my trunk on my trans am 4 years ago. and the stuff still looks brand new. but I dont put anything in my trunk to scratch it.
