If you rotate the spindle slow or quickly do you feel any tight positions or unevenness from a bad surface on the bearing or bearing race.
Take off the blades and check the centering of the blade and the balance of the blade, unbalanced blades will cause the deck to rumble and vibrate.
check the tensioner pully and see if its bearing is smooth and the tensioning mechanism is free to move.

Mower issue turned out to be blade related. When I removed them to sharpen them, evidently i didn’t align the star flange correctly with the blade. It still tightened down but allowed some chatter. It allowed a slight bit of movement causing the noise. This winter I’ll replace both spindles as the star flange got a little boogered up.
