Hello there,
I recently acquired a new to me Spirit of 76. I would like to put HubCaps on it. If you have some collecting dust I would be interested. They do not have to be mint condition either. They can be rough. Thank you, Chris

I do not think they came with them, besides the are not the same size as the garden tractors.

You are correct they did not come with them. I do know IH had a set that fit my size wheels and would like to put them on if anyone is willing to part with a set.

I think you were asking what size are the wheels. I have tires on there now that are 13x5-6 on the fronts and 18x8.5-8 on the rear. If you know of anyone looking to sell those hubcaps I'd be interested.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
