Default 1806 runs great occasional won't restart

My 1806 will run like a champ and then I shut her down and I'll go to restart it and it won't start. All of the wires seem fine. Is there anything I may have missed or any suggestions on what I can replace electrical?

What makes you think it's electrical?

How do we know if you missed anything? You didn't tell us what you have tested/done.

Did you check for Spark @ the plugs when turning it over, and it was not starting?
Then Did you dribble a little gas in the carb to see if it was a fuel delivery problem?

Another thing to check would be the carburetor. I had an identical issue, the carb needle wasn't sealing against the seat due to crud and gas was pouring into the cylinders flooding the engine. It would have to sit for hours before it would start again.

No points on electronic ign.
Pull the kill wire connector, to make sure it not a wiring/or switch problem grounding it.
If still no spark, your electronic coil/magneto died, not uncommon, and not cheap.
Heat kills them, you will possibly find it packed with trash.
BTDT!

I've seen more shorted wires and bad ignition switches on the Mags than failed magnetos.

This sounds like the problem I often have with my 782 with a Magnum engine. On mine, the engine runs, but sometimes I can't restart it. The engine turns over but won't start, and it is getting gas. I found the problem was the key switch electrical 5-terminal connector: the black plastic thing that plugs into the key switch. The wire that goes to the ignition module (ie magneto) jiggles loose from the key switch prong. So I reach into the dash and push all the wires in and then the 782 fires right up. Yes I know I've got to replace it, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
