Getting some yard work done. More branches from the neighbors tree. My Cub works great to haul the trailer out to the street and hook to the truck.

We've got 2 Farmall Super A's with cultivators. We just don't tend enough garden anymore to bother setting one of them up. So instead we use this horse drawn riding cultivator. Since gardening is done for the year we hooked the 128 to the cultivator to get it out of the yard. Got to thinking, there's no reason you couldn't pull one of these with a big Cadet that was setup for plowing. The only limitation might be plant height. You can see the drop down tongue (used a broken chisel plow shank) and some other modifications so that it tries to pull correctly---remember it was designed for each horse to pull from the side. We've used it for years with no problems. Yes, you do have to have someone to ride the cultivator to "steer" and raise and lower it. And yes, the cultivator is IH (McCormick-Deering).

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
