Thanks!
Well, I may have it running tomorrow, but I have not finished the last one. I have been waiting on a guy to help me weld up some holes and he hasn't been very wanting to do it. I may have to break down and buy a welder... will 110V work okay? any idea on a size that will handle what I need it to do with the cubs and welding holes up and fixing cracked and stuff?

Cory
Take a look at this thread http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=21420 Just my 2 cents but I'd look on C-List for a good used 175 or so 220 volt welder that is set up for gas (no slag to chip) you can do the small job with the big welder but you can't do the big job with the small welder. If you can't get your guy to do it call McGee welding on Falls ave in Waterbury, ask for Lance or Victor and tell them I sent you. Lance likes Twisted Tea ![]()

If you have an electric clothes dryer, problem solved. I plug everything that needs 220 into my dryer plug, plus I backfeed the house from the genset through it when the power goes off.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
