An Auxiliary Power Plug For The 2284
I use a plug in arrangement to power my 16 gallon sprayer. The 1872 had a plug, but, it is gone now.
So I added one to the 2284. Boy I got lucky, there was an extra white wire hanging back there!! WOOT! I connected this trailer plug to it.  The other end of that white wire was under the dash with another nice connector on it. I added a switch, and a fuse.  The dandelions ain't got a chance!!

That would have been for the rear PTO if it had one. Looks good.
I'd be happy to get dandelions to grow behind my house, better than looking at dirt.

I kinda thought it was the PTO wire, or else the PO had removed the backup lights!!
  Having that wire in the harness allowed me to make the under dash wiring look factory. Everything is soldered and shrink tubed. It took some digging to find just the right terminals that would plug into the harness, I never sorted the 5,000 mixed terminals that were given to me!!

Great minds think alike I guess....
(Let's not debate that, LOL!) I've had a similar set up on my tractor for years! IMG_20130619_220429.jpg IMG_20130619_220519.jpg The switch just below and to the right of the key is for the plug. The other two on the far side are for the front and rear "work" lights I added. Yes, that is an oil pressure gauge on the dash in center.
