QL snubber adjustment
Guys,
FIrst these look like standard 1inch diameter, 1/2 height rubber bumpers(sure you can get them 1/2 price from mcmastercarr). With new CCC QL Iso mounts, they are tightened so 2-3 threads are showing. Can I do a dry-run and simply measure the gap? Can this be done without the engine on the mount?? Seems like they had lots more shims than are now needed? Are replacement style mounts lower?

A standard rubber bumper may degrade quickly if it get oil or gas on it. Depends on what is't made of. I also need less shims when I changed ISO mounts and snubbers on my 1450. The engine should be in for final snubber adjustments
