Found the old VR was charging too much. So was able to tune it and get the volts down to about 13-14. Amazed myself!
Put the old amp meter in and it doesn't bounce around as much. Also looked at the contacts on the key switch and tightened those up as much as I could. Have to start look for another project soon Was eyeing up the Brinley plow and the snow blower.Picture of Marly moving honey supers to the sugarhouse. Regards, Chris

Cub 1450,
Here are some shots when I unloaded it in June. (believe me they never look as bad as they really are). This 147 was bad all over Paid 125 for it and the load of stuff. Figure I have the cost of a new top of the line Craftsman into it!And some shots I took on Saturday in the yard. Thanks guys! Duke, My ears are ringing! But my ears ring all the time anyway, maybe just a little more after testing it around the yard today. Anything above a idle you should have ear plugs For now its fun I may leave it that way for a while but eventually may drop a motorcycle baffle in to the vertical stack, or get a custom muffler built. It really barks/ snaps at high RPM! So far it really runs good. Would love to get it hooked to a plow and do some work! And will easily lift the front wheels! Some of the responses from family/ friends: "Why is so loud?" "I like it!" "Very responsive!" "Looks like a new one" "Keep and eye one it I may take it home" "Clean" "Why did you build it?" "It kept you out of the bars "Regards, Chris

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
