I spent some time this weekend putting the rebuilt K301AQS in the 1200. Feeling a bit under the weather wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be. I've got it running again but the timing is off. Got to find my VOM in my cleaned up garage. Maybe it's with the lifting rod for my 1200.
I'm going to wait until I feel better before I finish it up. Just not much fun being in the shop when you don't feel good. I took some pics but didn't get that many. I want to replace my tins on the engine mine look like . No pics of the engine until I replace tins. Need a new dipstick mine got broke in the crate. Had the engine fall and bend some cooling fins on the head.![]() Like I said wasn't that much fun in the shop when you don't feel good. Thanks to Allen and Jude for listening to me ![]() ![]() and ![]() ![]() thru this progress. I know it'll be worth it once it's done.

Once again, I appreciate the compliments guys. Feels good knowing you guys like my work painting in the cold wind and just suffering from my addiction! If I had a weather vane, it would need new bearings in it.
Duke- Hope you feel better! Next weekend should be really nice and this post should blow up!!

Hello all. I finally got to use my 2072. my uncle needed his yard leveled out
so i used the snow/dirt blade. It worked really well and pushed the dirt with ease. I love these tractors. Sorry but no pics forgot the camra today.

Took the kids for a ride today. I even got my wife to make a round in the yard.
Thats a big deal since she has no interest in cubs or driving them. Maybe I can get her to catch a little yellow fever to. One baby step at a time.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
