Are you talking about the 4 rib 16X6.50-8 wheel/tires? You can get replacements that are VERY close to the originals from Miller tire.

http://www.millertire.com/products/l...sle-rib-4-ply/

Here is a pic of my 147 with those tires mounted. The left is a new one and the one on the right is the original.

I've since replaced the original so they match.

Yep, they are carlisle I believe. I bought one for my 126. It was mid thirty dollar range I believe. Too lazy to look it up right now.

And Terry please don't feel like you can't ask something here in fear of getting flamed. Unfortunately it seems to be happening more and more here by repeat offenders lately which in my opinion is making people shy away from asking a question. Not everyone knows everything and this forum needs to be more welcoming to any and all questions from new or older members. Rant over

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
