makeing the right choice

Im putting together a 123 and Ive found a couple of tractors for a parts tractors....122 126 147...the 122 is probably good enough on its on to restore so I hate to do that to it....but it has a good cast iron corner deck that I would love to use... the 126 is not so good but is all there......the 147 has had a engine fire that got contained pretty quickly but did enough to pretty much do it in....and its hydro..... which makes it a better choice....If the hydros are the same.....trying to figure that out the parts manuls for both they look the same but are 1 number off......it has a decent deck under it as well but has hydro lift cylinder........just about on the brink of mass confusion at this point this our first cub and just want to do the best we can with what I got to work with....it is slim pickins down here...anybody have any thoughts??? Thanks Randy and Son.....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
