Default starting a quest for yellow
Hey guys Im new here but thought after reading for days I would have to jump in...I have a 6 year old son that loves tractors so Ive decided to start his first tractor....for some reason all he can see is yellow....lol....Ive always been a jd fan myself but since he came along and rode his grandfathers 1250 cub it was all over....So Ive been looking for a while to see what I could come up with to start a year project for me and him to restore....Im in arkansas and its kinda slim pickens down here but I have managed to find a few old cubs...So far Ive found a 123 126 and a 122....Im thinking the 123 because I think it would be easier for him run being hydro thats where you guys can chime in Ive never been on any of these myself so I dont know....I also think its in the best shape of three as long as I dont Kill it getting it out....lol.....It has a huge industrial press leaning against the back of the seat It hasnt hurt anything on except the seat back so far....I'll get pic and you will understand.. the other two are in a old mower salvage yard so to speak.. all three are 100% there except no deck for the 123....That leads to my next question what model number tractors deck will mix and match with the 123.....Im all new to the cub thing so bear with me If I ask something stupid ......Im gona leave here for now but more to follow for sure.....Oh almost forgot... if i go get the 123 is there anything I need to know about making it free wheel before I drag it out dont wanta tear anything up tryin to drag it out.....thanks again

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
