Dave's 1450 Sub-Project
I picked up a 1450 the other day while I'm in the midst of my 1650 Project.
The PO says it stopped running and they think it's the engine.  That's about the most I can really assess from the info I got.So I figure at the least, for $200 there are a lot of parts here that I can use on the 1650 - it has a solid 44A deck, and mine was stolen while at the sandblasting facility. If the engine is completely shot, I could probably part it out and get my money back. But it's unlikely that this tractor will become a parts bin. If I can get it to run, I'll take it up to our cabin and use it as a mower there. I'll swap out the better sheet metal, tires, and other parts to the 1650 to make that project easier, and maybe one day in the next year or so I can do a restore on the 1450. We can't seem to find our camera since last weekend, so I've got one of my older digicams charging up. Once it's ready to go I'll get some pics. So let's see if this old tractor can be brought back to life first...
