still have 1250 trouble
Well I had it running , but like I said it wasn't pretty. It would really start hard, turn over fast and catch every now and again. Once it starts the whole tractor would shake a bunch and smoke out the breather and muffler.
So today I rebuilt the carb. it wasn't in good condition at all. Cleaned the breather and replaced the old gaskets, and while I had it off checked the valves and adjusted. Checked the points, they were fine. Went to start it, same thing. Seems like it wants to start right up, but it won't. Crank it and crank it and it will like sputter, then nothing. Try again and it light up but runs rough again. Any ideas? I'm thinking this one saw a rough life by the way it's going.
