2182 ignition issues
Hello all. I have been an owner of a CC 2182 for 15 years now and love it. It is starting to show its age and having some nickel and dime stuff going on. The main issue I am having now is the ignition switch broke. I picked up a 6 prong ignition switch from Tractor supply and it seems the wiring for that switch is different than the OEM switch. I am hoping for some information that would help me out with this.
I have the 6 prong switch but have no wire diagram. If anyone could email me one I would greatly appreciate it. coltzfan@gmail.com I did get the tractor started in the middle of the yard as I taped the two AC wires together, and then touched the battery wire and hot wired it. Worked like a champ in a pinch but now I would like to do it correctly. I was playing around with the wires once I got it back to the house and I did get it to start, but once I put the key back to the run position it died. So any schematics of the electrical would be great. Thanks.
