New Cub owner in Michigan
Well I finally got a Cub Cadet. I've owned a Deere for several years and it was wearing out and needing repairs and after searching the internet decided I wanted an old 60's vintage Cub Cadet. I searched high and low and found exactly what I was looking for locally. It is a 102 in great shape and runs better than my John Deere ever did. It also has the creeper gear. These Cubs are really built well like everyone says!
I eventually will restore it but in the mean time I am just enjoying having a nice working garden tractor. I will try and post pictures when I can so I have before and after photos. I am located in Mid-Michigan where they seem to be plentiful and hope to acquire several implements to allow me more fun time in the drivers seat. This is a great forum to gain more knowledge on my newly acquired toy. I've been reading everything I can here so I don't ask too many stupid questions from you guys. I did find out that that "yellow fever" sets in quicker than expected!!!  CaptMax

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
