Default QA42A snowblower issue
Running my snowblower on my 782D after it was previously on a Quietline. During this week's storm we got 8" of super light snow. Wasn't able to get a 5/8" pulley or belt in the right size before the storm so I ended up getting a 4" pulley for a 1/2"x36" belt. The blower performed alright but I noticed that it wasn't getting much distance, not as much as I expected, anyway. Had to absolutely crawl along because I could only throw the snow about 5 feet, and feeding it as much as I thought it would take would just cause the blower to stop spinning entirely and would slip the belt.
Thought maybe the pulley was too smooth, but roughing it up didn't do anything. Thought belt might be too loose, but the adjustment is cranked down as tight as it can go and is nearly out of threads anyway. I can't tell exactly which pulley was slipping, I'm assuming now that it was the PTO pulley but I couldn't actually see which one it was because the blower would start spinning again as soon as I got off the tractor. Gonna be looking into an actual 5/8" belt and pulley but for some reason finding them in person is weirdly difficult.
Can anyone confirm what size pulley would be the best to speed up the blower a bit, and confirm the belt size I need for a smaller pulley?

I also need to get a heater for the transmission since it's getting so cold that the fluid is aerating on startup while also preventing the engine from starting from how thick it is. I've already done all the engine starting upgrades so I just need to keep the transmission fluid warm so it'll actually start easier and have a working hydro immediately on startup.
