This is very frustrating!!!
Well, here goes...
I have an LT 1045 that I use to pull wagons around the property and I put an MTD 42" blower for winter. Single OHV Kohler with electrostatic clutch for the attachments and it has run great all summer and ran great while i was recently snowblowing. Long story short. While blowing very heavy wet snow I experienced a problem with the blower. Brought the unit into the garage, removed and repaired the blower as well as replaced the 105" drive belt which was worn. Reinstalled the blower, jumped on to start it up...fun begins. Engine turns fine with an occasional chug/pop like its firing but no dice. Fuel filter has gas, gas is getting to the carb and the choke is functioning fine. Even tried a little starter fluid...no go with same chug/pop. Here is what I have done so far to diagnose. 1. Checked compression with hand held tool and am getting 80 PSI compression. 2. Checked spark...fine 3. Removed valve cover to inspect valves and rockers...all are fine. I am at a complete loss as to what to do now. I would love to avoid the C/C service dept but its beginning to look that way. Does anybody have some thoughts on what to do next with this??? Thanks!!
