17' xt3 gsx
hello all!
My first post, I think I have this in the right place and will try to keep short and sweet. we bought a house last year, and inherited a 2017 XT3 GSX(Model number: 14ZD3LE-010) with the house. used it all summer last year noticed a few steering issues but not enough to worry me, well this season I had two mows on it, and it stop turning hard to the left. But right worked fine! Some basic research tells me its the steering pinon and the flange/bushing, and this was confirmed true. Here is the fun part, and where my questions are coming in. all the guides/tutorials show a plate dropping down to give access to the bottom of the steering shaft. after a few hours I realized this is not the case on mine, and after finding a frame diagram, it looks to be true. that plate is welded to the frame and does not come out. So my questions...
