CC 107 Transmission Fluid Sludge

Hello Everyone,
I just drained the trans tonight to get ready for the new fluid that should come in soon and I'm not familiar with this fluid at all. When I cracked open the case the fluid seemed a bit thin with an orange/redish color. Gears look great upon my first inspection but I did notice some sludge/residue on the upper walls of the case and the bottom of the case as it drained. There were no metal shaving in it and it would put you in mind of a apricot preserve spread. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it a normal sign of old fluid or possibly the wrong fluid was used before? Any guidance would be great as I stated at the start this is my first time working with this fluid or transmission related at all. Thanks.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
