1641 Carb Issues

Turned the key and no clicking in the carb and I realize now that the solenoid is stuck. The mower has been sitting a while but I use non ethanol fuel and it doesn't look too bad.
I drained/replaced all of the fuel, cleaned the float, needles and everything I can get at.

Any advice on getting the solenoid to engage?

edit: I just noticed a similar post and will plan to let it soak in carb cleaer and I have ordered a 807723. Any other thoughts on what I may do in the interim are appreciated.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
