Sad day for the 800

Hey everyone yesterday I was cleaning up some Cubs yesterday from sitting over the winter and I went to go drive around the 800 this afternoon when I tried starting it it sounded like it tried to just barely crank then clicked. I ran it for a good while yesterday and started and shut it off at least 3 times yesterday with no problem. New battery was installed Jan.2019.
Any ideas? what to do first instinct was to hit starter while cranking but don't want to on that particularly small starter. What do I need to check for?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
